I was released from my duties as Youth Pastor of a great church in a small town in Northeastern Arkansas back in early June. I happened to be searching through www.google.com for any help that might be out there to help me through this pain and time of loss. I am a single man, I was in my first Youth Pastor's position and have never been through anything like this. I somehow fell upon this web site and found this Ministry to just be a source of encouragement. At the time I do not think I was looking for anything financial, but an uplift. I had allowed myself to become angry. When I called the phone number, the person that answered prayed with me and encouraged me, he gave me some verses to focus on that really strengthened me. I am working in an IT position in Little Rock, Arkansas for now and still feel God will provide another place to serve as Youth Pastor. But for now, God has me where He wants me and I am content with that. Thank you Hurting Hearts Ministries for being there at the right time and allowing God to use you! I pray that God will continue to use Hurting Hearts in a major way.

My name is Chris Harris. I am the husband of a wonderful lady of the Word and follower of Jesus Christ. We together parent 3 beautiful daughters. Recently after 4 years on staff at a small independent Community Church in Enid, Oklahoma I went through a sudden loss of my Ministry and found myself in despair and just needing someone to listen. Chad Price, President of Hurting Hearts Ministries was there at just the right time. Though his Ministry did not have the funds to help me at that time he prayed with me, encouraged me and guided me towards some people that did have some answers. I am now seeking for a "NEW" Ministry and loving my family. Thank you Chad and thank you Hurting Hearts Ministries.
